Institute of Community Ophthalmology, part of Paharthali Eye Hospital in Chattogram, Bangladesh, approached me with a fully broken WordPress website caused by outdated plugins, theme incompatibilities, and mismatched WordPress core versions. The site was completely down due to critical PHP and plugin errors. I carried out a full diagnostic process—debugging error logs, identifying incompatible components, and isolating corrupted dependencies—to restore the website without data loss. I updated the WordPress core, carefully upgraded or replaced outdated plugins and themes, resolved version conflicts, and performed compatibility fixes to ensure long-term stability. After recovery, I optimized the site for better performance and improved its security posture by cleaning up deprecated code, removing risky plugins, and applying configuration best practices. This project showcases my expertise in rescuing broken WordPress websites through advanced debugging, compatibility repair, and system optimization.
