Development Process

Website Design & Development

The author portfolio website was designed and built from scratch using Elementor and Pro Elements — creating a modern, visually engaging design appropriate for a romance author brand. The site was structured to showcase Maria's books, author bio, and brand identity with a warm and inviting aesthetic. The initial build included a direct book sales store allowing purchases through the website.

Business Model Transition

As the client shifted from direct sales to an Amazon affiliate model, the book store was transitioned accordingly — replacing direct purchase flows with Amazon affiliate links across all book pages and CTAs. The site's design and user experience were maintained through the transition, keeping the shopping experience seamless while redirecting purchase intent to Amazon.

SEO

On-site SEO was implemented and managed across the full website — covering page-level optimization, metadata, content structure, and keyword targeting relevant to the romance book niche and the author's titles. SEO work was applied consistently across all book pages, the author bio, and supporting content to build organic search visibility.

Pinterest Marketing
