DIT Studio

A full 47-page website redesign for DIT Studio, a Bangladesh-based interior design firm. The project involved redesigning all core and project pages with correct heading hierarchy, SEO-optimized image alt texts and file names, URL migration via a structured Google Sheet, AJAX load-more for projects, sticky Call Now and WhatsApp buttons, related projects sections, and full mobile responsiveness.

DIT Studio — Interior Design Website Redesign & SEO Optimization

Overview

DIT Studio is a Bangladesh-based interior design company with a portfolio of completed projects spanning residential, commercial, and specialty spaces. The project involved a full redesign of 47 pages — excluding 26 blog articles — with a strong emphasis on SEO correctness: proper heading hierarchy, keyword-consistent image alt texts and file naming, and a structured URL migration from old to new slugs via a client-provided Google Sheet.

The Challenge

The project combined a visual redesign with a detailed technical SEO and structure overhaul. Key challenges included:

  • Redesigning 47 pages while managing a URL migration mapping from old URLs to new ones without breaking existing inbound links
  • Correcting heading hierarchy site-wide — ensuring a single H1 per page, logical H2/H3 usage, and all non-heading elements using p or div tags
  • Applying project-name-based alt texts to all images on every project page, and renaming image files in the correct numbered format (e.g. common-space-design-1.webp)
  • Building AJAX-based load-more functionality on the Completed Projects section — loading additional projects in batches on each click
  • Implementing sticky Call Now and WhatsApp buttons on mobile, and a right-side sticky button set on desktop, with a back-to-top arrow above them
  • Building expandable text sections on the homepage for What We Do, What People Say, and Visit Our Projects headings
  • Adding a Related Projects section on every single project page with correct non-heading project name display in project listing cards

Scope of Work

The redesign covered 47 pages across two main content groups:

  • Core Pages — Home, service pages, about, contact, and supporting pages
  • Project Pages — Individual project portfolio pages with image galleries, descriptions, and related projects sections

Development Process

Homepage Redesign

The homepage was redesigned to match the existing mobile layout closely while improving the desktop experience. Sticky Call Now and WhatsApp buttons were implemented — appearing on the right side on desktop and fixed at the bottom on mobile. A back-to-top button was positioned above the sticky button group. The What We Do, What People Say, and Visit Our Projects sections were built with expandable text behavior matching the original site's accordion-style interaction. The Completed Projects section was built with AJAX-powered load-more functionality — loading additional projects in batches on each click rather than all at once.

Project Pages

All project pages were restructured with a consistent layout — project heading at the top as H1, followed by the image gallery, followed by descriptive text. Pages with and without detailed descriptions were both handled within the same template structure. A Related Projects section was added at the bottom of every project page. Project names in listing cards and related project sections were rendered as plain text — not headings — reserving heading tags exclusively for the project's own detail page. Heading hierarchy was corrected throughout: one H1 per page, H2 for major sections, H3 where needed, and all remaining elements as p or div tags.

SEO Image Optimization

All images across every project page were given alt texts matching the project page name exactly. Image files were renamed using the project name in a numbered sequential format — for example, common-space-design-1.webp, common-space-design-2.webp — ensuring both alt text and file name signals were aligned for each project's target keyword.

URL Migration

A client-provided Google Sheet mapping old URLs to new URLs was followed precisely throughout the redesign — ensuring all page slugs were updated correctly and redirects could be applied to maintain SEO continuity from the old site structure.

Key Features

  • 47-Page Full Redesign — All core and project pages redesigned in Elementor
  • Correct Heading Hierarchy — Single H1 per page, logical H2/H3 usage, all other elements as p or div throughout
  • SEO Image Alt Texts & File Names — All project images named and alt-tagged with the project page name in sequential format
  • URL Migration — Old to new URL mapping followed via client Google Sheet
  • AJAX Load More — Completed Projects loads in batches on each click
  • Sticky Buttons — Call Now and WhatsApp sticky on mobile bottom and desktop right side with back-to-top arrow
  • Expandable Text Sections — Accordion-style expand behavior on homepage key sections
  • Related Projects Section — Added to every single project page with plain-text project name cards
  • Full Mobile Responsiveness — All pages refined across mobile and desktop breakpoints

Result

A fully redesigned, SEO-optimized 47-page WordPress website for DIT Studio — with corrected heading hierarchy, project-name-based image alt texts and file naming, URL migration mapping, AJAX load-more project browsing, sticky conversion buttons, and related project sections, delivering a technically sound and visually polished portfolio website for the Bangladesh-based interior design firm.
