A one-page WordPress landing site for DispoDeal, a real estate wholesaling and disposition company. The project included a fully custom Elementor design with a deal submission form, proof of close HUD grid, testimonials, and a custom-built WordPress plugin to integrate the form with a Podio CRM app via API — with four rounds of client revisions and phone formatting and notification fixes.

DispoDeal — Real Estate Wholesaling Landing Page & Podio Integration

Overview

DispoDeal is a real estate disposition and transaction management company serving wholesalers and homeowners. The project involved building a single-page WordPress website with a custom Elementor design, a structured deal submission form, and a custom-built WordPress plugin to connect the form to a live Podio CRM app via API integration — ensuring every deal submission landed directly in DispoDeal's internal Podio workflow.

The Challenge

The project combined design, conversion, and backend integration requirements into a single deliverable. Key challenges included:

  • Designing a polished, conversion-focused one-page site with multiple distinct content sections targeting two audiences — wholesalers and homeowners
  • Building a Proof of Close HUD grid with redacted image placeholders matching the client's reference layout
  • Integrating the deal submission form with Podio via a custom API integration — without using the client's Podio login or exposing sensitive credentials in a third-party plugin
  • Mapping 11 form fields to their corresponding Podio field types with specific data format requirements per field
  • Managing four rounds of client revisions covering content, images, layout, phone field formatting, and email notification updates

Scope of Work

The one-page site was structured across the following sections:

  • Hero — Primary headline with Submit, Call, and Text CTAs
  • Who We Work With — Wholesalers as primary audience, homeowners as secondary
  • Why Wholesalers Use Us — Key value propositions for the wholesale audience
  • Novation & Creative Finance — Overview of creative financing capabilities
  • How It Works — Three-step process breakdown
  • Proof of Close — HUD image grid with redacted closing documents
  • Reviews / Testimonials — Verified closing reviews section
  • Deal Submission Form — Multi-field form with deal-type dropdown connected to Podio
  • Owner Trust Section — Credibility and trust-building content

Development Process

Design & Layout

The site was designed in Elementor following the client's reference layout for overall style, spacing, and color direction. The Proof of Close section was built as an image grid displaying redacted HUD documents as provided by the client. All sections were designed to be easily editable by the client after delivery without developer assistance.

Custom Podio Integration Plugin

A custom WordPress plugin was developed to handle the form-to-Podio connection via the Podio API. The plugin maps the deal submission form's 11 fields to their corresponding Podio field external IDs and data types — handling text, number, category, email, date, and phone field types. The integration posts submissions directly to the client's Podio app (Wholesaling Operations → website-wholesaler submission) in the background, without redirecting the user or relying on third-party automation tools.

Field mapping was configured precisely as required — Asking Price kept as Text to accept real-world inputs like "$410K", and Phone mapped to Podio's Phone field type to support click-to-call and future integrations.

Form Configuration & Fixes

Following integration, the phone input field on the website form was updated to accept standard formatting — parentheses, dashes, and spaces — while keeping the Podio field mapping unchanged. The file upload/attachment field was removed from the form per client request. Email notifications were updated to include a second recipient so both business partners receive deal submission alerts.

Client Revisions

Four rounds of revisions were completed covering image replacements across multiple sections, copy updates including replacing "high level problem solving" with "transaction management from contract to close", removal of a duplicate section heading in the testimonials area, Call/Text CTA button phone number update to (949) 942-8412 with proper tel: link formatting, and various layout and spacing refinements flagged across revision rounds.
